The WAEC Board started conducting two series of the WASSCE for private candidates in 2018. And the first series is usually done JAN/FEB, while the second series is by OCT/NOV. of every year. This examination is intended to help candidates with deficiencies in WASSCE results, make up for the failed subjects. WAEC GCE REGISTRATION DURATION
The details for registration for the 2022 WAEC GCE second series examination are as follows:
- WAEC GCE registration period will commence on July 13, 2022, and will end on the 14th of August, 2022. (PIN vending ends August 12th, 2022 at 12 midnight)
- For Walk-in registration students, the cost of registration is Thirty Thousand, five hundred Naira (
N30,500.00) only per candidate. Registration must be done not less than twenty-four hours before the scheduled time of the paper(s) they intend to sit for.
WAEC GCE 2022 SECOND SERIES, HOW TO APPLY.
Candidates are expected to pay a registration fee of Thirteen Thousand Nine hundred and Fifty Naira (N13,950) only, at the branches of any of the Banks listed below or any accredited agent. And hence, obtain the registration PIN and an information VCD. Also, candidates will be required to pay a Five-hundred-naira (N500) commission to the Banks/accredited agents.

WAEC GCE 2022 COMPLETION OF REGISTRATION
Candidates must conclude registration within two (2) weeks of the first access to the website during the registration period. In addition, they should make sure that their names, gender, passport photographs, dates of birth, and subjects are current. They are also required to print the Admission Notice/Photo Cards as evidence of successful registration. This will serve as a means of identification during the examination. The Result Checker PIN will also be on the Photo Card. Note, that only the Digital Persona fingerprint Scanner should be used for fingerprinting during registration.

GENERAL INFORMATION FOR INTENDING CANDIDATES
As you prepare to register and sit for the WAEC GCE second series examination, the following general information is necessary to take note of as this will assist you to abide by all the rules and regulations guiding the conduct of the examination:
- Candidates should view the Information VCD before they register for the examination
- Candidates should note that the registration fee is not refundable
- Candidates should continue to check the website for the examination Timetable
- Entries must be uploaded with passport photographs captured with a digital camera. The specification of the digital camera should be Microsoft HD 3000. The passport photographs must be of good quality BLACK & WHITE OR COLOUR (JPEG File only, 275 by 314 pixels with 72 dbi resolution) and with a CONTRASTING BACKGROUND. There must be no obstructive items. Please note that the submission of a defaced or poor-quality photograph by a candidate would automatically invalidate the entry of the candidate. - Candidates must go to examination halls in mufti and without arms. No professional uniform of any kind will be allowed in the examination halls

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION FOR CANDIDATES
- Any Candidate that comes into the examination hall with a mobile phone(s) and /or any other electronic gadget(s) will have his or her entire results canceled
- Candidates must ensure that their entries are correctly completed before uploading as the Council will not be held responsible for errors in candidates’ particulars. Request for amendments will NOT BE entertained on any information which a candidate voluntarily gives at the point of registration.
- Candidates must come into the examination hall with their original Admission Notice
- Candidates who engage in examination malpractice will not only have their results canceled but may be prosecuted
