WAEC GCE 2021 SECOND SERIES REGISTRATION

WAEC GCE 2021 second series registration: This is information for intending candidates of WAEC GCE (for Private Candidates) 2021 – Second Series. The conduct of two series of the West African General Certificate Examination (GCE) for Private Candidates began in 2018. The e-registration this year commenced Monday 26th July 2021 and will end Thursday 30th September 2021.

The West African Examination Council (WAEC) has commenced the registration for the WAEC GCE 2021 second series registration. The body in an advertorial signed on Monday, by the head of National Centre, Patrick Areghan, rolled out certain rules and regulations to be strictly adhered to.

According to Areghan, candidates are strictly warned to follow the information given before any registration is done to avoid complications. He advised the candidates to always check the website after their registration has been done to know the latest updates.

WAEC GCE 2021 SECOND SERIES MODE OF APPLICATION AND PAYMENT

To register for the 2021 WAEC GCE second series examination, candidates are expected to pay a registration fee of Thirteen Thousand, Nine Hundred, and Fifty Naira (N13,950) only, at branches of any of the following banks or any accredited agent and obtain the Registration PIN and Information VCD. In addition, a candidate will be required to pay five hundred naira (500.00) commission to the banks/ accredited agents.

After obtaining the Registration PIN and the VCD. Candidates are advised to watch the VCD for directions on the registration before proceeding to log on www.waeconline.org.ng to complete the registration. All Candidates should also note that the registration procedure has been designed to accommodate biometric features that will be used for validation at the examination centres.

Finally, candidates must conclude registration within two weeks of first access to the website during the registration period. They should ensure that their names, gender, passport photographs, dates of birth and subjects are correct. They are also to print the admission notice/photo card as evidence of successful registration. This will serve as their photo card during the examination. The result checker PIN will also be on the photo card.
