Extended Scope of Service for CBT Centres. The Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) on Monday, 21 February 2022 announced the extension of services rendered by the CBT centers. This extension came after a frequent request from CBT centers. Following this, services formally restricted to JAMB Offices are now opened to these centers.
Firstly, mote that the services extended to the Computer Based Test (CBT) centers are registration for:
- Part-Time;
- NOUN;
- Sandwich Programs; and
- Distance Learning
Each candidate listed above can process their registration using the process below which is approved by JAMB.

REGISTRATION STEPS FOR THESE CATEGORIES OF CANDIDATES
Secondly, each CBT centre are required to follow the steps below when attending to these categories of candidates:
- First create a Profile for the candidate (note that profile creation is free);
- Login to the Candidate’s Profile on e-Facility;
- Expand the “Other Registrations” Tab and select the appropriate registration for the candidate;
- Follow the prompts to make the payment of N3,500 application fees online using the candidate’s ATM card. Note: Do not collect any candidate’s card details, let the candidate be the one to enter his/her card details);
- After payment, the centre will proceed to register the candidate on the Registration App platform and print out the Registration
- For DE candidates of 2017 onwards, after registration, only the Registration Slip is to be given to them as the candidate’s registration information goes straight to CAPS;
- For candidates of year 2016 and before, after registration, the centre is expected to give them both the Registration Slip and an Indemnity Form;
- The service charge for this type of registration is N700 only and payable directly to the centre.
Thirdly, CBT centres are not required to write down or copy any vital data of the candidates such as card details, profile code, password
Fourthly, CBT centres are to recall that like the UTME/DE, the template is to be uploaded while candidates are to go away with the original (hard copy)
Finally, CBT centres shall abide by the rules as severe sanctions would be meted out to any who infract on any of the above.
